The earth rehabilitation program

I suggest that we stop overproduction, over consumption and excessive packaging. That we only recycle, repair, reuse, share, spare, and respect each one’s time. That we stop thinking that money which is printed can be more important that a plant, an animal, or a land that grows or makes itself over a long period of time. That we stop using crime money for funding our economies. That we stop creating money all the time. That we transform our old style businesses into resource making or resource protecting businesses. That we make peace and forget our old disputes. That we live poorer and only with our share of the total yearly amount of renewable local resources. That we use one currency for buying basic items, another between businesses and banks, and another for taxes. And finally that we accept birth control.

I dream that in the new green world humans and pets will live in technological mega cities eating plant based diet and wearing easily cleanable clothes. Their job will be basically to protect or restore nature, to grow food, to educate or to get educated, to cure, and to satisfy spiritual needs. Animals, plants, fields, water bassins, mountains will be outside those mega cities in sanctuaries, agricultural reserves or natural reserves. The world bank could fund the whole project. Their starting assumption should be that the more we spare or we make natural resources the more time we have on this planet. There will be a new measure of a year’s national wealth, namely TIME GAIN, that will express the amount of years that the nation has gained by sparing natural resources, given that resources mean life and economic activity for a period of time.
